Serhiy Hoshovsky
Mr. Hoshovsky focuses his practice on domestic and international matters including complex transactions, litigation and dispute resolution. Mr. Hoshovsky’s clients include government entities, businesses and individuals.
Mr. Hoshovsky serves as a Chair of the Committee on Eastern Europe of the International Section of the New York State Bar Association. Mr. Hoshovsky dedicates a lot of time to public service and serves on the boards of several non-for-profit organizations.
Mr. Hoshovsky earned an LL.M. in Corporate, Finance and Banking Law (Fordham University School of Law, NYC, 2001), where he was a member of the Fordham International Law Journal; and earned a Juris Doctor degree equivalent (Lviv National University School of Law, Ukraine, 2000).
Mr. Hoshovsky has practiced law in Ukraine and is admitted to practice in New York and before Southern and Eastern District Federal Courts in New York and the Second Circuit Federal Court of Appeals.
He is fluent in Ukrainian and Russian, with a working knowledge of Polish.
Emeka Nwokoro
Mr. Nwokoro is of counsel attorney to Hoshovsky Law Firm and a trial lawyer specializing in personal injury, product liability, class actions and complex litigation.
Mr. Nwokoro possesses twenty years of experience in the legal field and a track record of many successful jury verdicts obtained, yet he takes pride in maintaining a personal relationship with clients and bringing the full weight of his training and experience to focus on each case without the interference of intermediaries.
Mr. Nwokoro gives his full and undivided attention to every case he works on. He is a leader and pioneer in the so called ‘kernicterus’ type of medical malpractice cases involving infant victims who suffer from cerebral palsy and other related neurological injuries as a result of jaundice medically mishandled at birth.
Mr. Nwokoro has a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from Abia State University Law 1987, as well as a Master of laws (LL.M.) in Banking, Corporate and Finance law from Fordham Law School, 2004. He is admitted to practice in New York State and Federal Courts.
